It’s the perfect place to base yourself to explore the stunning beauty & interesting stuff the region has to offer. The 1855 Wash House is a studio cottage, located within a minutes walk from Skipton High Street. It is on one level apart from one step down into the kitchen. The studio is situated at the rear of a Victorian terrace within the owners garden. There is an outdoor flagged area for guests with sheltered seating for 2. There is a permit parking space at the front of the cottage. Several early morning opening cafes are close by and Marks and Spencers Simply food is just around the corner.

To the north, the stunning skyline of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, historic Beamsley Beacon and the Dales Way walking route. Ilkley, Silsden & Addingham villages close by, or stroll along the river Wharfe to Bolton Abbey & Strid Woods.

Cosy cottage in Addingham, local pubs and amenities close at hand. Bolton Abbey within the Yorkshire Dales National Park is less than 3 miles away; as well as the neighbouring spa town of Ilkley. Ideal for walkers with the Dalesway walk nearby. Whist we have 1 bedroom we can provide either a super king size bed or 2 singles. Cottage comes with parking for a small car and small open outside space. One small well behaved dog is welcome. Strictly no candles, smoking or vaping policy.

This beautiful attic apartment has been recently renovated and includes a gorgeous walk-in shower. The furnishings are a blend of modern and retro with local artwork showing Yorkshire's magnificent scenery. Your hosts are experienced walkers and can provide maps and local knowledge to allow you to fully explore the area.
