From this soft pine-needled space, enjoy the view across the pond, go explore the seasonal garden, feed the fish, and meet our farm dogs. Mostly, enjoy ease and reconnection nature encourages. Due to severe drought this year, the pond is currently very low. However, you can still spot koi, bass, and brim. 🙏🏼

Crazy Oaks Cottage is off the beaten path, yet a few minutes drive to all Gainesville offers. The house is on an acre, nestled in the woods. Across the road is a beautiful horse farm, maintained by UF. We are close to hospitals and UF campus. Our area is known for a variety of bird species! With very little traffic on the road, it's perfect for our guests with dogs. Morning views are misty and peaceful, and you may glimpse the deer that frequent our yard. Come home to Serenola Hammock!

Cows, cattle egrets, sand-hill cranes, and other wildlife are often seen from the cottage porch or kitchen table. There is a $25 pet fee for dogs, Three day minimum stay required. The $10 per day third guest fee waived after 10 days on long term bookings.
