Welcome to Skye Cottage where you can relax with the whole family. This peaceful place to stay is located near the best attractions in Ayrshire including Burn's Cottage, Head's of Ayr Farm Park and Brig'o Doon - all within walking distance. It is also a 10-minute walk to the beach and has many local amenities nearby. There are plenty of great golf courses nearby, Seafield and Belleisle being just 1 mile from us. The Studio at Drumshang House is a 2 bedroom annex that was an artist studio due to the wonderful views over the Forth of Clyde is approx 8 miles from Ayr and lies on the coast road having walking access to the coast with its beaches and the Coastal Path walk is a place to get away from it all. Situated in a rural location surrounded by farms the village of Dunure is only a short drive or walk away with a picturesque harbour that has featured in the Outlander series a pub and wonderful cafe

Bedroom 3 is open plan with stairs leading down to the living area please see photos), sleeps 5, private parking, unlimited Wi-Fi, log burner, oil central heating, sea and castle views. Whether you're looking for a one night business stopover, a couple of nights to attend a wedding at the Brig O'Doon, or a self catering holiday break, Doonbank Cottage's Bothy offers an exclusive, flexible & private accommodation. The Bothy is a beautifully presented & spacious, one bed detached house. Set in 4 acres of Doonbank Cottage's woodland garden on the banks of the River Doon , it is a very peaceful and quiet location. One (medium sized) dog allowed.

Kyle Lodge is our new one bed lodge set in the private grounds of our larger property, The Old Church (which sleeps 12). It is a private and exceptionally comfortable space featuring a roll top bath with views of open countryside. The secluded and sheltered covered decking area with woodburner allows you to enjoy nature all year round. The local grocery shop is a 5 minute walk, with many restaurants and outdoor attractions only a short drive.

Enjoy easy access to everything from this perfectly located home base. sited at the lower end of Ayr High Street. please note this is a 3rd floor flat with a windy spiral staircase so not suitable with anyone with mobility or balance issues! There is a public car park just a 2 min walk away while we do not mind dogs there is no garden or green space space but the beach is just a 5 minute walk away
