Welcome to George's! Located in the "Village" area of Amelia County! Our apartment within the home is CLEAN, inviting, and in a friendly area with a hometown feel! Our business tenant's office is also within the home and is usually there during weekdays. There are deadbolts on all doors between guests and our business tenant so no one will be sharing space with you. (Sorry, we aren't set up for guests under 8 yrs old). Owner, Terry Barnard discloses she is a real estate licensee in Virginia.

Farmstay on a 14 acre farm Queen bed loft upstairs. Down stairs has a bathroom, kitchen with sink, stove, oven, microwave, and complimentary kitchen-cups . There is a twin sleeper sofa in living room. Front and back porch, wireless internet and RukuTv. 14 acre farm with walking trails, old mill and creek. Cleaning fee $50 and Pet fee $25 day. No aggressive breeds please. All monies go toward our Horse sanctuary 501c nonprofit. Special rates do not apply from Dec 12-Jan 1st or holiday weekends

Nestled on a picturesque 300+ acre tree nursery, the 20 acre lake and 2 stocked ponds provide breathtaking views for your next stay. During your stay check out The Market At Watkins, our on site farmer's market open from April - November, serene overlook and firepit area above the creek, and don't forget to ask about adding on exclusive rights to hunt and fish during your stay.

Hawkwood House is close to Charlottesville, VA. It is in a 100-acre wood. Two guests share downstairs bedroom. Guests may use upper floor only with prior arrangements. It is a very quiet, peaceful setting. It is located near historic sites from colonial times of the United States and the Civil War and near Charlottesville VA and homes to three early US presidents (Monticello, Ash Lawn and Montpelier).
