Excellent views from our cheerful house by the sea

Our quaint, cosy house in Ferryden offers a wonderful holiday or short break experience for 2/3 people. The views from the house are stunning, ideally located just 15 steps from a small beach, or a short walk to the lighthouse. There's a village pub closeby, a good bus service and only a 20 -30 minute walk to Montrose where you'll find excellent restaurants and pubs, cinema, and a train station. There are so many things to do in the area including walking, fishing, photography, bird watching.

Fabulous local amenities include the golf courses, trout fishing, pubs, cafes, a beachfront play area, skate park and rockpools. We're also on the National Cycle Network. A cosy hideaway for two in a beautiful scenic spot on a working hill farm at the foot of the Angus Glens. In traditional bothy style, the bed and living/dining area are in one room, with a separate galley kitchen and shower room. With a wood burning stove, small enclosed garden with panoramic views and easy walks from the door, it’s an ideal place to switch off with fresh air and a good book. Also a great base for walking, cycling, golf, skiing and exploring central Scotland. Dogs welcome.
