Unplug in our rustic efficiency cabin on a working funny farm. This 3-room setup includes a full bathroom with a shower and tub, a kitchenette with a full-size fridge, sink, and all the basics for a simple meal. The front room combines a cozy living space with a comfy king size bed. We have air mattresses available. There’s no TV The cabin is best suited for quiet getaways. Absolutely no parties allowed. Maximum of 5 guests on the property at any time. Please do not book solely for pool access.

Home on the Green

If you are shopping, golfing, hiking, fishing, boating, sky diving or doing any of the other fabulous things Salado has to offer, you will need a beautiful space to relax in. Coffee overlooking the green. Grill out with the creek view. Wine while watching the sunset. Or cook inside in the furnished kitchen. Up to six guests will enjoy this three bedroom two bath vacation getaway. If you have some work to do, you'll enjoy the high speed WiFi. If you don't, you'll enjoy the streaming TV service.

Hayloft at the Lookout Stables

Our one bedroom Hayloft has an amazing panoramic view of the Texas Countryside with balconies on each side of the apartment. Open living and dinning area with a kitchenet wonderful for dinner parties for two or up to 4 additional dinner guest. Beautiful antique bedroom furniture perfect for your special day. You are welcome to bring your photographfer for photo shoots of you in the Horse Stables and grounds. We can arrange for one of our gorgeous horses to be in the photos or go for a ride.

Texas Star Cottage

Newly remodeled Texas Star Cottage located on beautiful acreage only five minutes from Temple, seven minutes from Belton, and fourteen minutes from Salado. The Silos, in Waco, are forty minutes away. Enjoy the covered porch, with large rockers, to take in the views of the pasture At present time we don't have horses but are looking. You have your own privacy gate for security. Check in with no personal contact, private amenities & sanitized cleanings. Three night minimum on all holidays.

Sunset View

A cute little house in the country. Come enjoy a few peaceful days with a gorgeous view of the sunset while watching the cattle graze in the field. Also enjoy the porch swing. The house is clean and comfortable to stay in. There is a queen bed to sleep in, a nice TV to watch with directv, and there is also internet service. A great place to unwind or venture out. We are 17 miles from Lexington, 17 miles from Elgin, 23 miles from Taylor, and 45 miles from Austin. Come see us!

Barn Loft Luxury at a Texas Longhorn Ranch

True Texas experience in the barn at a small ranch. See one of the biggest steers in the world at 13.5 long.. Stay in a luxurious loft in the barn constructed with whitewashed shiplap and rustic timbers. Big oversized windows and view the stables and pasture. The oversized cowboy bathtub is a converted water trough. This space features an open floor plan that includes 2 queen plus 1 twin size beds, a kitchenette and entertainment center. Set on heavily wooded acres. Close to dining, shopping, downtown but also tucked away enough to unplug and relax. Hike to the San Gabriel River or take a short drive to Georgetown Lake. The cabin grounds feature a serene koi pond and hot tub. Seasonal fire pit - placed out in fall and winter. 5 minutes to HighPointe Estate and close to many other wedding venues. Enjoy the whole house to yourself (1350sqft of accessable space to you). You'll have 3 bedrooms with 3 queen size beds and 2.5 bathrooms. You can park your car in the garage and you'll get the garage door opener. Both bedrooms have queen size beds. You'll have two Tv's with Hulu, Netflix, Amazon prime. The house also includes a washer and dryer for use. The backyard is fully fenced in for your pets (no aggressive breeds).

It's pretty quiet around here. There's not too much traffic. The air is clean. The stars at night are... This is an off-grid tiny cabin on 8 acres. It would be a good place to get away from all the distractions of life and write that novel that's been percolating in you head for so long, or you could just have another cup of coffee and watch the roadrunners.
