The Getaway

This 1950 3 bedroom 2 bath island house was remodeled with a Mid Century vibe. Some of the original features have been kept for authenticity. "The Getaway" feels like you are stepping back in time. It is a wonderful place to ride bikes and you can walk across the street to launch our 2 kayaks. I love our floor plan and the fact that each of the three bedrooms are large enough for a private retreat while the open kitchen/living area is so comfortable for the whole group to be together.

Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located place. Minutes from South Alabama (USA), Springhill College, Mobile Tennis Center, parks, golf, Mobile Art Museum, Fair Grounds, and much more. The home sits on a large corner lot easy to find. Large privacy fenced back yard for you and your four legged family members to enjoy. Also has a large covered back deck to enjoy along with a gas grill. Walking distance to the park and Japanese’s garden.

Henry's House: A Cute Lil' Ol' Beach Shack

Henry's House is an adorable cottage that's a throwback to old-fashioned island houses, but it was built in 2017. It was designed by renowned architect Eric Moser and the interiors were done by an HGTV insider. It's minutes from beaches, restaurants and shopping. We'd love for you to come to our beloved little house, because anyone who adores a Gulf Coast barrier island is in our tribe. You can even bring your dog! There's a shady fenced yard for him to play in.

Across the street is the ocean & behind the house is the lagoon; it's the best of both worlds. Swim, fish, crab & paddle board in the lagoon, then swim in the ocean & chill on the beach. Rinse off in the outdoor shower & enjoy the heated pool. FYI: pool heating costs extra: $50 per day (for 8 hours of heating - you pick the hours). You're welcome to use the Green Egg grill. We rent kayaks, a paddle board & a jet ski too.
