Silverstar Barn

Silverstar Barn is located on 10 acres just 3 miles south of Watertown on blacktop road. It is approximately 150 feet from our residence. Rest assure that you will be left alone to enjoy your extended or weekend getaway. We have just completed remodeling the other half of the barn turning it onto another rental. Silver star Stables has it's own entrance and both units have there own patio doors, one facing east, the other west for private outdoor seating. Both units have there own grill as well.

Incredible fishing, a complimentary canoe, kayaks, and swimming with beautiful view and sunsets. Big Stone Lake on one side and wildlife/farm fields on the other...remote and comfortable.

The Otters Den

The Property: Camping under the stars by the lake without the hassle! Cozy up around the Solo Stove smokeless fire pit while looking at the views of Tranquility Bay of Big Stone Lake. The Otters Den is centrally located adjacent to the lake on the South Dakota side between 2 public boat launches and close to Hartford Beach State Park. This private property offers a fully furnished camper with everything you need for a memorable adventure. This area is renowned for its fishing and hunting.

Guests will enjoy a private 40' dock and the location is a kayaker's and wildlife lover's paradise! Enjoy grilling on the over sized deck, take the 4 available kayaks (2 adult, 2 youth) out to explore the historic Big Stone Islands, or share a campfire in the firepit on the patio! Enjoy a gas fireplace in a cozy 4 seasons room, a spacious kitchen, a "man cave" with a 75" TV, a relaxing master bedroom with a king-size adjustable bed, and a versatile office that can also serve as a bedroom, with an optional air mattress. Attached heated garage stalls included. Comfortably sleeps 6 guests.

Peace of Lake, Apartment suite, Pickerel Lake SD

Located at Pickerel Lake, one of the best clear-water lakes in northeast South Dakota, the apartment above our garage offers guests all-seasons year-round access for fishing, hunting, boating, and water recreation activities on Pickerel Lake and on other area lakes. From a keypadded shared entryway up 16 standard-incline steps to the apartment are two bedrooms, living room, full kitchen, full bath with shower, plus free parking outdoors including area for boat/trailer parking.

Little Mill Road House

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. You can jump on a bike or take a walk on the tarred path located right across the road that leads into the Big Stone Refuge. Ortonville has Big Stone Lake great for fishing and our area is also awesome for hunting. We do allow pets but if left by themselves in the house please kennel them. There is one bedroom with a queen size bed and a murphy bed and futon in the living room. Plenty of parking for boats, trailers, etc.
