A short drive from Colorado Springs Airport, downtown, all the military bases, shopping, restaurants, entertainment, and all the local attractions. After a day of adventure, return home and enjoy the provided TVs, board games, books, and all the kitchen essentials. Relax out on the deck and end the night around the fire-pit.

This great space has all the comforts you need for a enjoyable home away from home. There is a sleeping, lounging and dining area as well as a kitchenette, bathroom and a lovely patio space. We have established and grow a large variety of edible plants. On our 1/4 acre lot we use a compost and a rain catching system to support our food forest, spiral herb garden and annual beds. We raise chickens and have been attempting to start an apiary. I am happy to give garden tours if interested.

Red Door Cabin

While staying at Red Door Cabins you will enjoy breathtaking views, amazing rock formations, beautiful pine and aspen trees, a firepit, silence and stars. Have fun finding pieces of petrified wood, geodes, wild berries, and mushrooms on the property and surrounding area. You will get visited by deer, squirrels, maybe a family of foxes and occasionally local black bear or two. So, don’t forget your camera! THERE ARE TWO CABINS ON THE PROPERTY SO YOU MAY HAVE NEIGHBORS DURING YOUR STAY .
