Imagine yourself in the grounds of a 16th Century thatched cottage, in rural Dorset. The river Piddle can be heard flowing nearby and the birdsong and gentle breeze is whispering through the trees. You are surrounded by fields, heathland and forests, and the Jurassic Coast is just a few miles away. Heaven... well that's what we think anyway, and we would like to share it with you. Come to stay in our beautiful log cabin, complete with spacious raised deck with views down to the river Piddle.

Located on a quiet country lane with no through traffic, parking is freely available at the top of the lane. From here, you can easily explore the many beauty spots of the Isle of Purbeck, including the stunning Jurassic Coast, the ruins of Corfe Castle, Poole Harbour, and Brownsea Island. We are one mile away from The Wise Man Inn - an award-winning pub; 6 miles from Dorset's stunning Jurassic coast and 3 miles from the county town of Dorchester. You will, however, need a car- or bikes! Sorry, no pets and no smoking. No EV charging, yet, but there are many fast charging points nearby.
