Lovely 80 sq m, 2-brm flat, 5min walk to Buffalo Beach. 1 queen bed in 1 room; 1 dble & 2 sgle beds in 2nd room. Spacious bathroom. Kitchen incl d/washer, m/wave, little bench oven, elect frypan, toaster, portable dble hobb etc. Outdoor space with BBQ & backyard has outdoor table & chairs. Off street parking for a boat. Car park next to the flat. We have a young dog who is friendly. We try our best to keep her from visiting. No EV charging. (We live upstairs so you may see us when we go out)

As the canal-front is unfenced, I am sorry, we cannot accept children.

Coromandel Sanctuary

Situated on the crest of the Coromandel ranges on the 309 road. Mahakirau Forest Estate comprises almost 600 ha of native forest. Each site is convenated by QEII National Trust who describe Mahakirau "outstanding for it's ecology and wildlife value with brown kiwi, kaka, Hochsetetter's and Archey's frogs all present". A spacious house in a bush setting, sit back and relax, take a bush walk down to the stream on the property and star gaze at night.

We are situated in a peaceful garden setting down a private drive. We are close to the ferry to Whitianga where there are beautiful restaurants, shopping and the Lost Spring. You can walk across the road to Lonely Bay and Shakespeare Cliff. Or you can do a 15 minute drive to Cathedral Cove and the famous Hot Water Beach. Local restaurant within walking distance (Eggsentric) or you can go into Cooks Beach where we have The Vessel or Go Vinos.

Cute, comfy warm 2-beddie self contained downstairs flat. Sea views, flat lawn, retro 70's Kiwiana space. Hosts have paid attention with larger comfy beds and quality furnishings. Short walk to child friendly safe Brophy’s beach. Quiet, private, warm, safe, secure, on-site hosts for questions. A great base to see all Coromandel. Kayaks, undercover BBQ to use. A fun place to stay, definitely not perfect in every sense.
