Leyden's Cottage

Period mud brick cottage originally built sometime before or around 1900 with family history stretching back five generations and the gold rush. It is set on a property of nearly 30 acres with abundant wildlife and scenery. It is located approximately 5-6 kms from the township of Avoca Victoria and it is within walking distance of a couple of local wineries and the Percydale historic area. It is isolated from any close neighbours and you do not have to share facilities with any other guests.

Relax on the property or use it as a base for bush walking in the nearby Mount Cole State forest or visiting the Pyrenees wineries. Sadly, the historic meditation temple (c.1995) was destroyed in the February 2024 bushfire.

Just a short walk to our fabulous town, shops, restaurants/cafes & lake! Set well back off the street, Headland is only one private little cottage, on its own, flanked with large lawn, garden and a couple of cute garden sheds. Circa 1860, Headland is one of Daylesford's originals--oozing authentic appeal, cosy and calming. Bonnie Views Cottage

Our delightful 2 bedroom self contained cottage called Bonnie Views has unparalleled views - set high on a hill overlooking the historic township of Clunes. Peaceful and tranquil the birds sing in the morning. At night watch the sun set over Mount Beckworth while having a wine on the deck. Clunes hosts many annual events including Booktown (International) in May each year. Our cafes, hotel and local shops are brimming with signs of welcome. So why not come and see for yourself!

Both bedrooms have a king bed and storage. There are 2 bathrooms one up and one down and a second toilet off the laundry downstairs Well equipped kitchen including pizza oven and espresso machine. Your welcome pack consists of home made pizza and fudge. Fire place available from 1st May to 30th September.
