Edwin Cottage - Early 1900s Character Home

Our charming early 1900’s renovated cottage is perfectly situated within the beautiful character overlay of Toowoomba. Moved to this location in 1925, Edwin Cottage is filled with period charm and character. We are located 4 minutes from the city and 5 minutes from Queens Park. It is a short 9 minute drive to Gabbinbar and 13 minutes to the showgrounds. We have many food options within a 1 minute walk including a bakery, Fish & Chips, Chinese, Kebabs, Cafe, Spar Express and a liquor store.

Family and Group Accommodation

This well appointed cottage has three large air-conditioned queen/double bedrooms and a small bedroom with a single bed. Two bathrooms and full kitchen and laundry facilities. The lounge room has reverse cycle air-conditioning, wood heater, Wi-Fi, smart television, stereo and DVD player. A variety of board games and movies are provided. There is a double lockup garage and carport for a trailer or boat. A covered entertainment with barbecue facilities provides a place to unwind after a busy day.

I do have an additional house in Middle Ridge that sleeps 12, it may work better for you or for large groups you could book both houses. This spacious 5 bedroom 2 bathroom property has ducted air conditioning/heating and ceiling fans in all bedrooms. 4 bedrooms have queen beds with a king bed in the spacious master suite. It is ideally situated on the side of a hill to allow for beautiful panoramic views. It sits on a fully fenced 5 acre block. We have recently moved to the block & living in the top shed. We both will use the same gate but this is all you will see of us. Your privacy will be respected but here if you need us.
