Restored old building on medieval site, on edge of the Shropshire Hills AOB, in quiet location in central Bishop's Castle. Double and single bedrooms, lovely old furniture, luxurious modern comfort, well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher; walk-in shower downstairs, bathroom upstairs; centrally heated plus log-burner; wi-fi and television. Tawny Owl Barn

Tawny Owl Barn is a 200-year-old, grade 2 listed, tastefully converted barn in the village of Leintwardine. A large garden is available for our guests which has a wildlife pond and waterfall and another barn with an open fire available for sitting around. Rooms are spacious, well furnished, and well-equipped. There is a large kitchen/diner and lounge plus two bedrooms with en-suites. A large lounge settee can also be used as a double bed. There are two pubs and shop within walking distance.

Our holiday apartment occupies the top floor of the Old Vicarage, a grade 2 listed Georgian house with much older roots, located directly behind the church of St John the Baptist in the heart of the historic market town of Bishops Castle. From its lofty location guests can enjoy far reaching views over the town and hills beyond. Only a few steps to the nearest pub, shops, eateries and with immediate access to the Shropshire Way and many other walking and cycling routes.

One of two Beautiful apartments ( this one is on the ground floor but is up a couple of steps so it is probably unsuitable for wheelchairs) in the historic Porch House; a 16th century grade II* listed timber framed town house in the centre of Bishops Castle, opposite a pub with lively music nights. The apartment has a super king size bed and room to take bicycles in the anteroom. Apartment 2 is under a separate listing.
