Bookeen Hall is a 200 year old restored church about 20 mins from Galway City and within easy reach of the Cliffs of Moher, The Burren and Connemara. We are a short drive from Lignum (restaurant). We offer a private room (with 1 king size bed and 1 single bed) with a private bathroom. For larger groups there is a second room (with 1 king size bed), so we can accommodate up to 5. The nearest train station is 8 miles away in Athenry. We live here with our dogs and look forward to meeting you!

Close proximity to the Michael Cusack Centre, Burren Perfumery, Poulnabrone Dolmen , Caherconnell and Cahercommaun Forts. Some of the most beautiful walks begin in Carron which are mapped out to hike on your own. My home is next to the Cusack Way walk. Our home is located 1.5km outside Castlebar Town, in a quiet peaceful area. Westport town is roughly 20mins drive from our home. You will be sharing my home with myself and my husband, we also have a friendly small Dog a Bichon Frise which is a non shedding dog.
