Property is surrounded by nature with Bright Angel Park right outside the back gate. Take your morning coffee, stroll along the trails and be at the river within minutes. Take a break to unwind in beautiful Cowichan Bay on Vancouver Island - about a 40 minute drive from Victoria BC. Our renovated (in June 2023) suite is at the end of a no-through road and is only a 5-10 minute walk into the village to a fabulous, organic craft bakery, artisan shops, restaurants, a museum, a pub, a small grocery/liquor store and a popular ice cream/candy store. (Seasonal) kayak/paddle-board rentals & whale watching excursions for hire. Cowichan District Hospital 15 min drive.

We're located oceanfront in beautiful Maple Bay near biking/hiking trails, Maple Bay beach, pubs and restaurants. This cozy Studio offers stunning views and is complete with a kitchenette, full-piece bathroom and a hot tub. Suite has its own private entrance. Kitchenette is equipped with a small fridge, induction stove top, convection oven/microwave/air fryer. Coffee and tea are provided. Please note: Driveway is sloped, with set of stairs to Guest Suite.

Mid-island, this rustic cabin is perfect for any couple (or small group) shacking up in the woods. Features a full kitchen inside, outhouse, outdoor shower, fire pit, covered porch & access to pebble beach trails, making this a magical retreat. Please note that there is wi-fi at the cabin but no cell reception on the property, and many guests have mentioned that they’ve enjoyed the chance to unplug and connect with nature.

Shawnigan Lake Private Oasis

We are a 15 minute walk from the ever-quaint Shawnigan Village, and Government Dock, where you can take in a scenic walk along our gorgeous lake. Enjoy a soak in your ultra-private, outdoor clawfoot tub/shower and take in the evening stars! Follow it up with a drink by the outdoor fire table and a Netflix marathon in the cozy living room. Be our guest and leave rejuvenated and refreshed!

Hidden Retreat

The cottage is approximately 2km from Beaver Pt Hall, 5km from Ruckle Provincial Park, 10 minutes to Fulford Harbour, and 20 minutes to Ganges. We are within walking distance to several beach accesses, Canada Conservancy forest, and a beautiful First Nations Reserve. The beaches are launch points for nearby Russell and Portland Islands in the Gulf Island National Marine Parks.
