The Old Dairy, cottage on Highland Farm

As the name suggests this cottage was previously used as dairy on the family farm in years gone by. The house was built in the 1850's, the first house on the farm as it is now. The cottage was also known as Grieves House and was home to the Manager of Dalmore Distillery years and years ago. We live on a family farm and there is always somebody nearby for assistance during your stay. Dalmore Farm is in a quiet location on the edge of Alness, a busy town which in 2018 won the title of Best High Street in Scotland. Set on the shore of the Cromarty Firth, this makes an ideal base for exploring Easter Ross and the Northern Highlands. Alness town centre is approx 10 - 15 walk Morrisons and Lidl are approx 5 minute walk

Dunaincroy farmhouse enjoys a unique setting on the Caledonian Canal midway between iconic Loch Ness and the town of Inverness (6 minutes either way.) Set in an historic Highland estate this secluded location has extensive, fully fenced gardens down to the canal and spectacular views to open countryside and the hills beyond. The wilderness of the highlands and yet only minutes from the amenities of a major town and nearby transport hubs. It is also a great starting point for the North 500.

Sealladh Dubh

Sealladh Dubh sits on the banks of the Cromarty Firth, there's fishing - permit required - on the doorstep,beautiful views over the Black Isle. Dingwall town centre is a 10 minute walk - aprox 1/2 mile - with many cafes, restaurants, hotels, and pubs. The North Coast 500 route also passes through Dingwall. Hill walking and nature trails are also easily accessible or if it's beaches you're after, there's an abundance. We supply tea, coffee, sugar, milk, biscuits, bread, water and butter.

The Old Steading is a charming cosy 2-bedroom cottage, in a beautiful & tranquil location on The Black Isle. The home is suitable for up to 4 people. Guests have exclusive use of the cottage and a large comfortable log cabin, with wood burning stove in the garden, which overlooks the Cromarty Firth & Ben Wyvis mountain. The cottage is located 2 miles outside Culbokie within a small hamlet and is an ideal base for exploring the local Highland area or touring the "North Coast 500".

Ideally located at the start of the North Coast 500 (NC500), just 23 miles north of Inverness, and a short distance between Evanton and Alness, it’s the perfect base for exploring the Scottish highlands Located between the Inverness- Wick railway line and the B817 (the old A9), it’s perfect for walking, canoeing, and fishing, or just relaxing.

Culnaskeath Farmhouse Cottage

Culnaskeath Farmhouse Cottage is an extension built in 1993, and blends in with the original house (1860). It's a cozy cottage with a wood-burning stove, two double bedrooms, a kitchen and a bathroom. The upstairs landing has a desk and single bed. The house has views over to the Black Isle, the Cromarty Firth and across to the Cairngorm mountains in the south. Behind our house are six miles of forest tracks. From these, you can see Ben Wyvis in the west.

Drumsmittal Croft, North Kessock, Highland

Drumsmittal Croft is an open plan luxury modern apartment on the Black Isle set within a working croft in a beautiful rural location with stunning panoramic views over the Beauly Firth and Inverness. The apartment is on the doorstep of the North Coast 500 (NC500) and within a 10 minute drive to the centre of Inverness, a perfect location for those looking to explore the Highlands and Islands. Juniper Hut 500

Wood lined hut set in woodland in a peaceful location with a pond nearby but with easy access to Inverness, North Coast 500 and the west coast. It has spectacular views of Ben Wyvis where the sun sets at night. This is a new hut we have built next door to our Red Hut 500 which has been so successful but it has the benefit of a small kitchen. The Hot tub is booked separately and paid for on arrival, the hot tub is £25 per night.

Cosy upstairs snug with glass wall with views over the living room. Wood burning stove takes centre stage within the living room, initial logs and matches will be provided. The house is surrounded walking trails and the welcoming sight of horses in the next field. Close to the NC500 route.

2 Hedgefield Cottages

This renovated cottage is an executive quality, two bedroom cottage in an upmarket district of Inverness which is only a 10 minutes walk to the city centre, five minutes from Inverness Castle. The cottage was built in 1880 and Inverness has since grown up around the cottage which once stood on open farmland. Many of the top Inverness restaurants and bars are located near by. All visitors to the Highlands are welcome.
