It's a 30-minute walk to the beach, 25 minutes to James Street with all the bars and restaurants and 5 minutes to Stockland's Shopping center. The Hillside Retreat in Tambourine Mountain is the ideal getaway with breathtaking views of the Gold Coast and the hinterland, with an outdoor swimming pool, a heated spa, garden and bbq facilities. Enjoy the calm and tranquillity of the mountain with trails to hike, while being a few minutes' drive from the distilleries, wineries, Gallery Walk, Skywalk, National Park, Botanic Garden, fine eateries and a golf course. This coastal style modern beach shack offers a bedroom with Queen bed and on request- a 'bunk-house' with up to 4 beds (child / teenager single size beds) for the kids. One of 2 exceptional holiday houses in Lamington National Park. Sleeps up to 4 adults in two bedrooms each with en suite plus 2 children in a "kids' loft". (Note: kids love the loft but it is not recommended for adults) Groups of more than 4 can hire the adjacent East House as well. Bookings are accepted for children 4 years and over. The house and grounds are not suitable for younger children, toddlers or babies.
