Serene San Diego Canyon Getaway

Our cozy studio-style guest house perched above a tree-filled canyon is a serene getaway in the center of San Diego, just a few minutes' drive to all local attractions and most of our other institutions (colleges, universities, hospitals). The casita is comfortable for two or a small family, with full kitchen capacity to prepare at-home meals. Our weather here is temperate, but if the weather gets hot, we have a silent mini-split A/C unit to cool the casita as needed.

Detached 400 sf studio with full kitchen, private redwood deck, and own entrance/parking. Just a mile to the coast, the house is a 15-20 minute walk to the beach and a 25-minute walk into Encinitas, a classic beach surf town. Bbq grill on small balcony. The unit is steps to the bay and short three minute stroll to the beach. Two beach cruiser bicycles provided which is one great way to get around the area. Please note, access to the second story is via an outdoor spiral staircase.

Surf Studio is in Pacific Beach, 2 blocks from Crown Pt. Shores Park on Mission Bay, with 26 miles of bike paths leading to the beach and around the bay. It is 5-10 minutes away from Pacific Beach, Mission Beach, Mission Bay Golf, Sea World, shopping and restaurants. Surf Studio is on the ground floor of a quiet 5 unit apt building nestled behind host house. Street parking is available. ( Pls Do not park in front of 4069 Honeycutt across the street)
