Nature cocoons you and you can reach out and touch the trees, see wildlife all around you amongst the pines. With breathtaking views through the tress and across the valley you are completely private having no other accommodation on the site making this a truly unique and special experience. A great effort has gone into creating this space to allow you to simply relax and reset in nature.

Situated between the North York Moors and Yorkshire Dales National Parks and close to the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty there is plenty to do and see in the area. Richmond, market town is close by .

The cottage is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac, just a few minutes’ walk from the pretty Georgian square in the centre of Richmond, North Yorkshire. Recently fully renovated, it provides spacious, comfortable accommodation. Richmond is a historic market town with unique shops, great restaurants, tea rooms and bars. It boasts a magnificent Norman castle on the spectacular Swale river with plenty of walks and sight-seeing, both locally and further afield in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales.

Situated almost equidistant from the Dales market towns of Reeth, Leyburn and historic Richmond, this former miner’s home near the old quarry in a tiny unspoilt village boasts character, charm and comfort alongside modern amenities. There are galleries, bakeries and breweries, Bolton Castle, the scenic Dales railway and all the walks and landmarks offered by Swaledale and Wensleydale in easy distance.

Our beautiful cottage is in the centre of the village right opposite the pub. Our guests love the cottage because of the beautiful Yorkshire Dales countryside and nearby Market Towns. The cottage is suitable for couples, families (with children), and pets (maximum of 2 and we do ask that they are not allowed upstairs or on the furniture). The lovely garden is fully enclosed and the terrace is a real sun trap in good weather. Fast Wifi is included.
