You'll love our cabin in the woods! Once a historic mercantile, the Wissahickon Cabin has been transformed into a cozy cabin for 2 - 4 guests. The cabin is situated in the forest and visible from the Gandy Dancer Trail. The front porch boasts an access path directly to the popular Woolly Bike Trail. Our cabin is secluded in the woods, but it's less than a 5-minute drive to downtown St Croix Falls, Interstate Park, dining, shopping, and entertainment. Enjoy a peaceful getaway in the north woods!

This cozy cabin, perched above a quiet, beautiful lake, with views of soaring pine trees and wildlife is a great place for relaxing next to the warm fireplace, or taking a dip in the cool water. If you're feeling adventurous, consider hiking nearby trails, or enjoying a game, or a laugh with family and friends around the fire pit. The cabin sits about 80 steps (a challenge for some) above Elk Lake. Elk lake is a no wake lake that is great for fishing, kayaking (we have two), and swimming.

Guests can enjoy fishing, sight seeing, canoeing and kayaking the Chippewa River or Elk Lake, biking, hiking, atv/utv and snowmobile trails nearby as well. Upon arriving, you will feel a sense of calmness and seclusion. Relax to the sounds of the falls and the birds singing. Wander the gardens and play in the spring fed lake. Read a book in the hammock or simply stare at the reflection on the calm lake. We offer a canoe, rowboat, 2 kayaks, and S.U.P for exploring as well as a grill and fire pit area.
