A-Frame Away on the Olympic Peninsula w/Hot Tub!

Our small A-Frame is nestled in the mountains between beautiful Port Angeles and Sequim, Washington. Our location offers you a central stay to many of the Olympic National Park activities. While the A-Frame is very near our home and has two neighboring houses slightly visible it resides in a private nook amongst the trees. We share a driveway, but you have a designated parking spot. Outside you can enjoy your private deck, hot tub, fire pit, hammock, chicken coop, or walk down the gravel road.

Historic Discovery Bay Beach Cabin Stunning Views

Experience healing and peace with the sound of gentle waves on Discovery Bay. Our cabin was built in 1939 by our grandfather who was an early businessman in Port Townsend. He wisely recognized for decades to come this would be a prized place of rest, enjoyed by 5 generations. Our two kayaks for beginners and new paddle board are available for rent. Explore the unbelievable beauty of the Olympic National Park just a few miles away featuring hiking to rainforests, glaciers, and mountain lakes.

Indulge in tranquility at this riverside cabin. Relax by the gas fireplace or cook in the elegant kitchen with a view of the river and mossy trees from the deck. Explore the outdoors on the nearby Discovery Trail (0.08 miles). Visit Sol Duc Hot Springs, Olympic National Park, Lake Crescent, and La Push. Forks and Kalaloch are nearby. Enjoy entertainment on two TVs (1 Blu-ray, 1 Wi-Fi), 50 dvds available, but note there's no dishwasher, and Wi-Fi and cell service may be INTERMITTENT.

Mallard Cove is the best place on Lake Sutherland! Our lake-front and massive deck literally get the very last bit of sun all summer long! Our neighborhood is also full of friendly, easy going people. You should have an amazing time! Welcome, Hikers! Our 30 acre property adjoins the verdant lowland forest of Olympic National Park. From the shared patio, sit and enjoy your coffee or wine and look right down the Elwha Valley to the majestic Olympic Mountains with a view of the Elwha River and Mt. Carrie glacier. The Hiker's Cabin serves as an ideal base for daily excursions to explore Olympic National Park and local beaches. Walk directly from the Hiker’s Cabin onto trails leading into the park!

Our off-grid A-Frame camp sites are the perfect and dry alternative to sleeping outdoors. Bring your own bedding, camp gear and enjoy the dense greenery and old growth timber. It’s cozy interior with battery powered lights, private access, surrounding walking trails, fire pit and picnic table will be a great place to rest and relax! We are located off of HWY 112. Less than 30 minutes from downtown Port Angeles, Salt Creek Recreation area and beach and Lake Crescent!
