Watch the sunrise over the downland with the village of Godshill and its church spire in the foreground.Take a short walk to the wildlife pond and ancient woodland within the grounds or sit on the sheltered veranda and watch the ponies grazing in the paddock, whatever the weather inside with the wood burning stove alight looking out, the view is spectacular. Pygmy goats graze in the orchard.

Little Hut at Little Grange is tucked away in a picturesque Somerset village on the outskirts of the Mendip hills AONB. Our luxury bespoke Sheperd Hut is well-equipped and perfect for short staycations. Come and enjoy the private garden/bbq area, complete with bbq and firepit where you can toast marshmallows and enjoy the view from the wood-fired hot tub. If you want to get away from your busy, daily lives, relax and unwind with the sound of birds in the background then this is the place for you. This is not the place for late night hot tub parties! You certainly won’t forget your time in this intimate Garden Room sunken into the grounds of our garden with stunning views of our paddock/ old orchard and surrounding countryside of the beautiful village of Hernhill. We have great sunsets in this area which you can watch from the Garden room.

Go by car, bus or rail to stunning coasts, beaches and countryside. Visit pubs in nearby villages or go to Totnes, 3 miles away, with its markets, individual shops, restaurants and wine bars. From there enjoy a river trip to historic Dartmouth. Our friendly village has a great shop, post office and garage.
