We will meet at the historic Niagara Glen and proceed down into the Niagara Gorge. I will show guests the ancient remnants of the origional rivers edge, explaining the history of the Niagara River and Niagara Falls. You will learn about the 325 million year old fossils, ancient creatures called Trilobites. Further into the gorge, the famous potholes, I will explain this amazing geological wonder, how they were formed and the incredible physics behind it. We will then carry on into the amazing Carolinian Forest, to explore the ancient trees and fauna. At the bottom of the Niagara Gorge, we will experience the power of the Niagara River up close and personal. On the way back to the top of the Gorge, we will pass massive boulders that fell from the top of an ancient waterfall, and climb through the caves and passages formed by these boulders. All the time, you will have the chance to collect amazing photos and memories.
I will guide you through the 3.5kms (2.2miles) of trails and share with you all the wonder.

Donde estarás

We will be visiting the Niagara Glen Nature Preserve, a protected area full of geological history. A stairway will lead us to 3.5 kilometres (2.2 miles) of rugged paths that wind through this pristine pocket of Carolinian Forest, past prehistoric geological formations, wild flora and fauna. The Niagara Glen and Niagara Gorge is an amazing piece of history that must be explored first hand.

Our group of 7 had an exhilarating hiking adventure with Lenny just this August 2020 Long Weekend. Lenny is very good at keeping communication line open, as initially the weather was not too promising but eventually we were able to make a go for it, and so glad we did! He provided us with a thorough insight of the gorgeous Niagara Glen and its history, the geology, wildlife and vegetation as we went through the massive area. It made us appreciate the place more. The 3 hours just flew, we really had fun! Thank you so much Lenny! We are planning now a Fall Hiking Tour!

Do yourself a favour and book a tour with Lenny. We had a great time, learned a lot, and saw a side of Niagara I hadn’t seen before. Such a nice way to spend an afternoon in the great outdoors!!

We really enjoyed our hike through the Niagara Glenn with Lenny. He showed us so many things that we wouldn’t have noticed doing the hike ourselves

Thanks for the beautiful views (I wouldn't have found or even notice most of those on my own), the information, stories and the laughs!

I had a wonderful time and would suggest that everyone visit this hiking trail, especially with Lenny as it opens a whole new perspective of the Falls. My friend and I went on this trail with little knowledge of the trail itself and hiking. We managed to enjoyed every minute of it, without feeling it would be too challenging or out of our physical capability. On that note, my friend and I would like to suggest that if you are interested in taking this hike with Lenny that you do a little more research on the proper clothing and footwear as my friend could have saved some blisters and I from overheating. Other than that, this was one of the highlights on our trips to Niagara Falls!

Lenny was an amazing host! My friend and I, both never having hiked before, were toying with the idea of purchasing this experience or doing the hike ourselves. We're both glad we decided to go with Lenny. Lenny was incredibly knowledgable of the area, personable and funny. We were laughing and having fun the entire 2.5 HR hike!
