This family friendly home away from home sleeps 7 in 3 double bedrooms (1 ensuite) and has a spacious open plan kitchen/living room.

The Bird Hide is ideal for singles or couples (max 2 people) interested in exploring the local area with its own garden and separate access. A comfortable king size bed, seating area and with it's own dining and inbuilt kitchen, it offers all you need for a short stay. It has a separate bathroom, as well as on outside decking area to catch the evening sun. The Bird Hide is 5 minutes walk from Freshwater Bay, even closer to footpaths to the Downs and the local village via the SSSI trail.

Our annex is fully furnished and ready for self-catering holidays or short stays. Situated at the end of a quiet unmade road surrounded by fields on three sides, and just a few minutes’ walk from Totland Bay, it is ideal as base for walker's, cyclists, beach goers or those who just want to get away from it all. Rose Cottage is a 3 bed cottage (sleeps 5 plus infant) situated less than 5 mins walk from the stunning beach at Freshwater Bay. Close by is Tennyson Down with its stunning cliff top walks to The Needles as well as beautiful beaches at Totland & Colwell Bay. The cottage has an enclosed front and rear garden plus off street parking. Within short walking distance are Dimbola Tea Room, The Piano Cafe, Farringford House, The Albion, the bus bar and a visiting pizza van in the summer.

This coastal retreat is tucked along a private lane oppositeFreshwater Bay - you can stay without relying on a car as the bus stop is on the doorstep. There are so many simple delights: sea swims, beach BBQ's, dramatic coastal walks, explore caves, discover rockpools, crabbing, fishing, hire a SUP, or a nature walk through the marsh – even a round of golf! The Cabin offers a relaxed base to explore the many charms of the island. Perfect for a romantic break or a week with the kids.

‘Smugglers’ quirky hideaway

Smugglers was once an old stable attached to the back of our house. It’s still linked to the house, but is self contained. It’s unusual shapes and fixtures make it very quirky and would suit people that like something a bit different. There is a main double bed and a mezzanine deck ideal for relaxing on. The little kitchen allows you to stay in and cook for yourself if you fancy a cozy night in. The courtyard in front of smugglers can be used for bbq’s if the weather is kind!

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful getaway! A period Arts and Crafts bungalow with a sunny, fenced, garden overlooking Freshwater Bay. You are welcome to bring your dog and walk from the front door in every direction to enjoy the West Wight. Enjoy a short stroll down to Freshwater Bay, continue further all the way to the Needles in one direction. Step out of the back gate and onto the bridleway leading over the downs to our favourite place, Compton Bay.

Each offering glimpses of The Solent and within a stones throw of the beautiful Colwell bay, with its beaches and eateries. The restaurant The Hut, is a 15-20 minute walk away.
