Antietam Toll House~an historic waterfront cabin

The Antietam Toll House (@antietamtollhouse) is a renovated historic property circa 1800. Sitting on the bank-head of the Antietam stream, this cabin has it's own private fishing hole. The traditional log cabin is located on 25 acres of mostly wooded terrain in the scenic rural countryside of Wolfsville, Maryland, less than an hour and a half from D.C./Baltimore. The hosts live on the property, but the cabin is situated where it feels very private and you do not see the hosts house from the cabin. The cabin faces the woods and there is a private trail down to the creek. Take a break from everyday life, and escape to this unique and quiet retreat in the Catoctin Mountains.

Our home is an original 1790 log cabin with 1857 additions, also features modern amenities, including a chef's kitchen. Multiple outdoor venues, extensive grounds and amazing views of a 4-seasons garden, the C&O Canal National Park, and the Potomac river. Enjoy a creative retreat, nature, history, adventure, romance.

Thanks for checking out our treehouse! It’s 4 minutes from downtown Shepherdstown and 15 minutes from downtown Harpers Ferry. We are excited to share it with other fun-loving folks! The treehouse has heat and AC, a tiny kitchen with a mini fridge, stove top, toaster oven, gravity-fed sink and kitchenware. There’s a bathhouse built on the back of the host’s home with a conventional toilet and shower. There’s also an outhouse with a light and essentials. We provide wood for the fire pit also.
