Bathroom is roomy and modern, and a large walk-in closet houses washer/dryer as well as your storage. The view from the front windows is of Folsom Lake State Park; the neighborhood is quiet and beautiful. A supermarket is approximately two miles away, as are several restaurants.

The Johnny Cash Trail, Sutter Street shops and restaurants, the Saturday farmers market, etc. are all a short walk right from the front door.

This guest suite is completely separate from the main house, with a full-size living room, bedroom, and bathroom. A full size desk with desk chair offer a great work space. A small table with chairs offers a quiet spot to enjoy a meal. A small fridge, microwave, and coffee maker (fresh-ground coffee, cream, & sugar) are in-suite. (Please be aware, we DO NOT have a kitchen)

And yet town is only a 5 minute drive, allowing access to anything you might need during your stay. We consider our land a sacred, healing place. Before we built on this property we gave special homage to the Native peoples, and asked for blessings from the spirits to live here. We have discovered grinding rocks, shards of Chinese pottery, and ancient fire pits on the land.

Welcome to our Little Red Barn in rural Loomis. We love this area because we are surrounded by hundreds of destinations worth exploring. Whether you're interested in CA history, white water rafting, lazy lake days, skiing in Tahoe, farm to fork, or fine dining, then our Little Red Barn is a perfect jumping off location. Our barn features a completely remodeled guest suite located on the second floor. The suite has a private entrance and deck overlooking our but growing mini farm.

We are fully permitted with El Dorado County (#082189) for a max nightly occupancy of 6 adults (children 6 and over).
