A newly converted, self-contained cottage with exposed beams and underfloor heating. Super comfy kingsize double bed with mattress topper, White Co linen and towels. Fully equipped kitchenette including Smeg kettle and toaster, Nespresso coffee machine. Roberts Radio, Smart TV, Wifi. Outside space and parking. Great pub in the village.

Nestled in the picturesque Dorset countryside, this charming Portland stone cottage offers a quintessential English retreat. Set within the grounds of a historic Old Rectory, the property is surrounded by rolling hills, lush meadows, and the tranquil River Frome, providing an idyllic spot for a holiday. It is all on one level,we are able to rent out the whole cottage also which creates an additional 2 bedrooms for extended family - we rarely rent this out to another party and is mostly empty.

The annex is private and comfy, in a quiet country setting, located on the border of Dorset & Somerset, an area of outstanding natural beauty. The famous Jurassic Coast is a 20 minute drive and the closest pub a mere 2 minute drive away.(20 min walk) There is an open plan living room with double doors that open onto a deck over looking a private garden below. There are a number of scenic walks to explore from the annex. Crewkerne-a few minutes away has Waitrose, lidl, Boots, Savers & Poundland.

The Lodge provides the perfect location for a relaxing escape to the rural countryside, yet just 40 minutes from the fabulous Jurassic coastline. The cottage sits within a ninety acre farm, Higher Easthams Farm.The market town of Crewkerne is a pretty, ham stone town that sits in beautiful countryside perfect for all manner of outdoor pursuits. The River Parrett and trail runs through the farm . We are only 30 minutes drive from the world heritage site that is the Jurassic coast, which has the towns of Lyme Regis famous for its fossils and Bridport which are popular for the beach and cafes.

The private terrace has a covered eating area and open lounging space enclosed by walls and clipped box hedging. The underfloor heating and electric log burner add warmth to the sitting room and the spacious open plan kitchen makes for a sociable space.

The village has a grocery shop, butcher, restaurant, pub, children’s playground and lots of walking all close by. The cottage is the perfect retreat and base to visit all Somerset and Dorset has to offer. There are two double bedrooms offering accommodation for upto 4 guests. The cottage garden is the perfect spot for your morning coffee or evening glass of wine by the fire pit.
