A distinctive period cottage in a unique location with tastefully presented interior. This is one of only three cottages built on top of the old Saxon walls in Wareham. Originally there were six cottages, built between the mid and the late 1800s which have now been opened up into three. The cottage is the first one along a gravel footpath and is fronted by the Saxon dyke. Meadow View Shepherds hut has a private entrance & patio with a shared parking space on our drive. Well behaved dogs are welcome, we do not accept any other animals

There is a bus stop and 2 local shops a short walk away, and Wareham train station is within 1 mile. Wareham forest, with bike tracks/walking trails is accessed at the end of the road.

The Lodge Retreat is nestled at the bottom of a secluded garden pathway in the sleepy suburb of Southbourne and is a stones throw from Bournemouth’s award winning beaches. The whole of the Lodge Retreat is yours to relax and unwind and includes use of your own private hot tub. There’s plenty of free street parking and more often than not, you can get the street space directly outside of the property. The Lodge Retreat offers an easy self check in and check out service for your convenience.
