Gujo Hachiman is known as the “City of Water”, and owner & architect Yuri Fujisawa has lovingly restored this charming residence to embody the spirit of water. Located below the town’s medieval castle, this neighborhood was reserved for high-ranking samurai. While the historical streetscape is well-preserved, it remains an authentic neighborhood inhabited by friendly locals.

Haruya Guesthouse

Our guesthouse is in a beautiful mountain village, near to it are pristine forests with beech trees and an ancient mountain path that was used to carry sea products from Japan sea to Kyoto in old days. In front of the guesthouse runs a stream that is a source of Lake Biwa and its water is crystal clear ; in early summer nights many fireflies fly over the stream. In winter, we have a lot of snow ; sometimes it reaches 2 meters from the ground! On clear nights you can enjoy the sky full of stars.

Experience a stay in a traditional Japanese house, tucked inside the forested mountains of the Yoshino Valley. This converted farmhouse is located in Kawakami Village, the source of the Yoshino/Kino river. 日本庭園と床の間のある和室と洋室(ベッド2 布団3) そして古い蔵の中の隠れた空間(Jazz bar風)でゆっくり。 Our house has a traditional Japanese garden and Japanese style room with a dormitory floor There is also an Japanese traditional warehouse．(Jazz bar style) 家の周辺には果樹園や水田が広がっています。 収穫期には美味しい果物と野菜とお米を食べることができます。 This area is an agricultural promotion area There are orchards, vegetable fields and paddy fields around the house. During harvest you can eat delicious fruits and vegetables and rice.

Hakone Villa with Private Onsen, Ryokan Style

Authenic Japanese style mixed with modern comfort. The private onsen is the biggest feature of the house. Also it has a Japanese style garden where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery just sitting on the tatami. The house is 25 min bus ride from Hakone-Yumoto. From the nearest bus stop, Midorinomura-Iriguchi, it's about 2 min walk. It is also very close (3min bus ride) to Sounzan, the terminal of the Hakone rope way.

Our house is traditional Japanese style house. 150 years old and in a very quiet location. We are renting house. Not shared with other guests. There are 2 bedrooms(Tatami-room) and 1 living room, gameroom, bathroom, shower toilet, all of the room are only for you. *Children is free of charge if your children don't need a bed and break fast. There are air conditioners in bedroom and livingroom.
