The Lookout - dream, hide, explore!

Calling all explorers, dreamers and creatives! Come for a quick retreat or stay to write that book. The lookout was built by owner Rob himself over ten years. There is thought and love behind every little detail. The house isn't perfect, there is raw wood, some things aren't finished, the furniture is vintage and may appear worn but if you look past that, you will find that everything there has its own story and that this house is made for the big things: sunrises, ocean dreaming and full-moons

Spectacular sea views in quaint Kalk Bay

The sea views from our airbnb suite (2 bedrooms and a lounge) are fabulous. Behind us is the mountain reserve and in front lies the wide expanse of False Bay. Down below on the rocks is a natural tidal pool, safe for swimming. We are close to Kalk Bay fishing harbour, the quaint Kalk Bay village, several other tidal pools (perfect for cold swimmers!) and Fishhoek & Muizenberg beaches. We have newly renovated and enlarged our Airbnb space which is now separate from our living space and private.

Lorelei On The Beach

Beautiful historical beachfront accommodation with a private entrance. Lorelei is part of the owner's Main House comprising a Master Bedroom with a queen-size bed, a Second twin bedroom, both with stunning sea views; there is a single bed, with another pull-out single bed underneath, so sleeps up to 6. Large deck with deck room, plunge pool overlooking the sea, plus sunken outdoor fireplace. Private sunny indoor dining area, cozy sitting room, & well-equipped kitchen with 2 ring hob and oven.

Driftwood Cottage

Driftwood Cottage is set in a beautiful quiet residential area of Hout Bay. This self catering cottage is well-equipped and located next to a private family home. It sleeps 2 Adults comfortably but children in a cot or on sofa bed can be accommodated. Loadshedding protected, furnished and light and airy. A stairway leads you to the main bedroom and ensuite bathroom. You'll also find a glass folding door that opens onto a sheltered private balcony with stunning mountain and valley views.
