Whether you enjoy sitting around the fire with family and friends, hitting the lake for fishing, kayaking, paddleboarding, or just lounging on the large floating water mat, we have you covered. At the end of the day, fire up the Traeger grill or Traeger Flatrock griddle and enjoy dining out on the deck while taking in the amazing views of the lake as the sun goes down. Come on out and make some memories!

The Ponderosa

The Ponderosa is relaxing and peaceful for anyone. If you need more space, we have outdoor areas for RVs or tents. This is a great space for gatherings such as: crawfish boils, family reunions, birthdays, a romantic couple getaway or a family escape from everyday life. Come out and enjoy nature and look at the stars at the Ponderosa. Lake Sam Rayburn is 35 min., Steinhagen Reservoir is 10 min. away and Big Thicket National Game preserve is minutes away. Shooting on property needs approval.

The kids will be in the water by nine and you won't see them again until they're hungry. Our dock runs 5-6 feet deep — deep enough to actually jump off, which is rarer on this lake than you'd think — plus a slide into the shallow end the little ones won't get off of. Kayaks and a paddleboard included. Meanwhile you're on the shaded back deck with coffee, looking straight down at the dock. You can see them the whole time, which means you can actually sit down. 2,300 sq ft. Sleeps 10.

Barndo-Peaceful, sleeps 4, minutes from town!

Take it easy at this unique and cozy barndominium studio minutes away from downtown Silsbee. 100 yards from main house. Relax while swinging on the porch and enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning (or wine at night:) Take a hike in the Big Thicket National Preserve, or go canoeing or kayaking down the famous Village Creek (ask us how!) You can also learn area history at the Silsbee Ice House Museum. Check out our property map in the pictures to see walking trails.

Rooster Tail Resort

Quaint studio guest house located on a private 2 mile lake, ideal for all boating activities including fishing, water skiing or just soaking up the sun. This property is secluded under a shaded canopy of oaks, in a quiet, country setting. A fire pit, BBQ area, swim area and dock, which is fitted with cleats for docking your boat or jet skies, are available for use. Plenty of parking. Pets under 20lbs are allowed with PRE-APPROVAL BEFORE BOOKING ONLY.

Just Chillin by the Lake

Relax and enjoy the beauty of this peaceful private lake with lakefront cabin. Full kitchen, with complimentary coffee and tea, queen bed, private full bathroom. A large, covered porch. Fire pit and charcoal grill are provided as well as a Kayak for your enjoyment. Kayak, fish, or swim or just chill on private pier. Check in 3:00 pm - Check out 11:00 am. If there is anything else you would like, we can try and make it happen. Just ask.
