Experience a nostalgic Showa-era Japanese home in Kyoto Yawata. Stay in a traditional house with tatami rooms, sliding doors, and a unique retro atmosphere rarely found today. Enjoy a peaceful local neighborhood with easy access to Kyoto and Osaka. This is a traditional Japanese house built in 1976 and has not been fully renovated. You may notice some signs of age, which are part of the charm and character of a Showa-era home. Please note that we provide traditional Japanese futon bedding (not Western-style beds). Enjoy sleeping on futon on tatami mats.

五条高瀬川のほとりにひっそりと佇む、一棟貸し宿「逢譚-atan-」 杉や土、和紙といった自然素材が静かに呼吸するこの空間は、京都の街に溶け込みながらも、時間の流れが緩やかに感じられます。 浴室の窓越しには小さな坪庭。 季節のうつろいを映すその景色に、湯につかりながら身をゆだねるだけで、心がほどけていきます。 余白と静けさ、そしてほんの少しの贅沢。 旅先で予定を詰め込むよりも、何もしない時間を味わいたい方にこそ、訪れていただきたい場所です。 朝は障子越しのやわらかな光に目を覚まし、夜は庭に落ちる影を眺めながら、静かに一日を終える。 ここでの時間は、目に映るものだけでなく、空気の温度や足裏の感触、音の静けさまでも記憶に残ります。 誰かと語らうのもいいし、一人でゆっくりと過ごすのもいい。 この宿は、日常から少しだけ距離を置き、自分の輪郭を確かめるような場所であってほしいと願っています。 「逢譚」という名前には、 まだ出会ったことのない風景や空気、人や言葉、そして物語に出会えるような宿でありたいという想いを込めました。 あなたが過ごすこの空間にも、きっと小さな物語が生まれるはずです。

The location of the hotel is in a place where you can walk to downtown area of Kyoto and famous temples. It is a very convenient place.

There are 3 supermarket, Seven Eleven, and so many good restaurants nearby home in 5 minutes by walk.
