Creative souls love my marvelous studio retreat, a delightful one-room loft-style space featuring tall ceilings, an entire wall of sliding glass doors, kitchenette, piano, and an expansive view of a picturesque barn, pasture, and wooded hills. This amazing, heated, spacious country getaway has no plumbing— it's just a few steps across the yard to the main house guest bathroom. Come create, relax, and renew here! Good dogs in your reservation must be leashed outside, kenneled when you’re away.

YurtCation

YurtCation is an off-grid getaway with lake frontage and nature trails. There is another yurt about 300ft up the same driveway. There are a total of two yurts and two homes that have access to the same 17 acre lake. Each yurt has their own queen-sized comfy bed, wood stove, Weber grill w/charcoal, fire pit, firewood, fresh water, canoe, and clean Porto Potty. The yurts are about 80 feet from the lake’s ordinary high water mark to comply with zoning. We are fully permitted and have many repeats.

Doe Meadow, a tiny house farm stay

Doe Meadow is my newest custom designed tiny house nestled along the drive to my family farm. Sharing my little slice of heaven with guests is something I have found great joy in. Rural tourism is my passion, & all the farm animals are anxiously awaiting your visit- treats in tow- of course! Staying in a dome amidst nature is a unique experience. The circular structure offers an amazing view of the surroundings, with peaceful sounds of rustling leaves, chirping birds, and a flowing river below. The cozy dome has a queen size bed, night stands, a seating area, mini fridge, and a k-cup coffee maker & heater/ac. At night, the starry sky and nature's sounds lull you to sleep. Waking up, you feel refreshed, and the peaceful surroundings and breathtaking views leave a lasting impression.

Cozy guest suite/basement apartment with separate entrance for nature lovers. Lake and capitol views from breakfast nook with microwave and mini fridge and coffeemaker. Full kitchen coming fall 2025. Quiet, woodsy, neighborhood adjacent to Governor Nelson State Park. Completely painted and updated 7/25/24. Tiki level, pier, and kayaks for guest use. People love the views, the hot tub and woods. It is a 1929 cabin so many stairs, some indoor insects and limited space. Well behaved pets welcome!
