Marked trails weave around the property for early morning coffee walk or a moonlit snowshoe - courtesy snowshoes are available for guests. Deer frequent the property as well.

Staying in a Strawbale home is a special experience! The thick adobe walls create a cozy and warm feeling that a traditional stick built home just can’t. Enjoy the vaulted ceilings, heated floors, new appliances and natural sunlight. Backyard, fire pit and gas grill as well as outdoor eating space. The view from the kitchen looks out on a private pond and local historic (retired) Rio Grande Railroad bridge. Some scenes from the movie Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid were shot by this bridge!

We are close to the airport and hospital in the southern agricultural area of town. Beautiful views, simple living and comfort in this adorable custom apartment will have you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated! There are pets on the property and neighboring ranches galore. The apartment is very private, with ample parking; trailers welcome.

Our pet friendly property has been fully renovated, and includes a fenced in area for your dog and chairs to enjoy the sunset views. The well designed kitchenette, living room, bathroom, and washer/dryer are everything needed for a relaxing getaway. The apartment is the lower floor of our home, and my family and I live upstairs in a separate unit.

Sleeping loft accessed by spiral staircase which may not be suitable for those with mobility issues. 432 square feet of living space. 25 minimum age requirement to book, exceptions can be made for guests with good feedback.
