This idea has nurtured and maturing for several years. We started building these four houses in january '17 and they will be finish in march '18 The old Faroese houses are agreeabel to the overall Faroese landscape, and we therfore naturally targeted this ancient construction/building method. The ground floor: kitchen and living room in one. End a bathroom. Top floor: one master bedroom, intended for two grown-ups and an additonal open space aple to sleep two additional grown-ups. The view from the house is regarded among the very best in the Faroe Islands. The house is located by the sea with a view of the fjord. On the other side of the fjord is Kalsoy, where the last James Bond film ended. The 150-year-old Pershús has recently been renovated. It is perfect for couples and families with children. There is opportunity for activities. Quiet walks and hiking. The local å Storá is everyone's playground. Í Fjósinum Glæd dig til at bo i et af Færøernes ældste huse. I dette hus kan du nyde den helt særlige stemning, af hjemlig og hyggelig atmosfære. Her er skæve vinkler, lavt til loftet, og en noget stejl trappe op til loftet, men dog god at gå på, hvor 2 soveværelser og badeværelse er. I stueetagen er der gangen, stuen og køkkenet, som er nænsomt renoveret, for to år siden. Der er udsigt til søen og de høje fjelde fra vinduerne.

Spacious new boathouse apartment located at the bay in a small village called Hvalvík on Streymoy. Less than an hour drive to the airport, half an hour drive to the capital and all the other islands. This house is build after a model from 1870. The atmosphere is there even you stay in a warm well equipped little cottage. Its 35 m2 big, and have one room and toilet and a small kitchen. A loft under the ceiling can host 2 persons extra. Keep in mind that there is still only one room to stay in. The house is in a charming village 56 km from Tórshavn.

Cosy traditional house in small village

Older very cozy small house in the great nature area in the village of Haldarsvík. The house is next to a river, the local church and a small beach. The spectacular Fossá is only a walk of less then 3 km away. By car there are 5 minutes to Tjørnuvík and less then 45 minutes to Tórshavn.

Cosy little old house in Tjørnuvík

The house is very old. Originally the house was half the size it is today, only around 15m2. In 1884 they built it bigger, around 29m2. Nobody knows how old the original house is. People have been living in the small village of Tjørnuvík for thousand years.
