Wild strawberry Shepard’s Hut with Hot Tub

Beautiful shepherds hut powered by solar for an off grid experience along the Wild Atlantic Way situated on Connemara farm land located 20 minutes from Galway city and 10 minutes from Oughterard and Lough Corrib. Sleeps 3 with a double bed and a single bed. Kitchenette with running water and gas hob, separate fire pit/BBQ area and outhouse with toilet, sink and heated shower. There is a small wood burning stove in the Shepherds hut with kindling provided. Towels and bedding are also provided.

Joyce's Cottage, one of two adjoining traditional cottages (the other being Derrypark Cottage) lies below the imposing Partry mountains on the shore of Lough Mask. This is the very best of Connemara. Solitude, peace and breathtaking scenery. Visitors can swim from their private beach, go for a cycle (bikes available) or simply sit outside and take in the spectacular scenery. Cuckoo Wood Hexagon, 5km from Westport

This cabin has a hexagon shape with a square porch where the front door is. The Hexagon, as I call it, is situated on its own on land that is half orchard half woodland. On the morning sun side, where the door is, the decking leads to the little purpose built bathroom building. There is a perspex canopy so you can walk over staying dry even if it is raining. A few goats and a few hens roam in the adjoining field.

120 years old restored cottage situated in a scenic and secluded area. It is surrounded by lakes and mountains and an ideal base for a fishing and touring holiday in Galway, Connemara and Mayo. a wonderful location, for hill walking ,outdoor pursuit's, angling, water sports ,nature. Heating and electricity is included, and an inital complementary bag of firewood is supplied for the stove.
