Enjoy a taste of village life with a community shop and 3 pubs with in walking distance there is also a large Sainsbury’s nearby with EV charging. Please note that there are steps into the cottage and we have a traditional Devon staircase so property is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues .

Orchard cottage is a cosy 2 bedroom detached property set in the heart of the ancient village of Holcombe in the beautiful county of Devon. Ideally situated less than 10 minutes walk from the beach and a few minutes by car from the towns of Dawlish and Teignmouth. The cottage consists of, upstairs, a bedroom with a double bed and another with two singles, bathroom with bath/shower & WC,down stairs a very cosy lounge and good size kitchen/dining room. Dogs welcome, maximum of 2 medium/small ones.

The fully self-contained one bed cottage sits in private grounds with parking and great access to transport links. Just 7 minutes from m5 jcn 29 and Exeter airport or a 12 minute walk from Whimple train station. Exeter has great tourist facilities and restaurants. Well behaved dogs are welcome on the ground floor only. Please don’t plan on leaving your dog alone.

Sleeping 6 in 3 double bedrooms there is a large kitchen diner , sitting room with log burner , bathroom with bath and separate shower and a downstairs cloakroom . The enclosed small garden to the rear offers lovely views and the opportunity to star gaze at night . We allow flexible check in and check out times if there are no bookings either side. Also, great for walkers and cyclists and for visiting Exeter, the lovely Exe Estuary and the South Devon coast. A great village location with friendly pub 50 yards away, with easy access to the A38/A380. The cottage ideally suited to 2 or 3 people. Broadband provider is BT, with download speed test at 15.2, which should provide a reliable service.
