Maybe you fancy a walk around the Town Basin loop. Beautiful native bush walks up Parihaka from where you can enjoy sweeping views over the city and Whangarei Harbour or along the Hatea River, are on your door step. For a bigger work out you can keep going, via A.H. Reed park, right up to the Whangarei falls.

Close enough to all the shops, bars and restaurants in Warkworth and Matakana, but with the Te Aroroa trial (500 metres) and countryside on your doorstep. Less than 10 mins to Warkworth, 15 mins to Matakana with its vineyards & markets, close to Omaha beach and the beautiful Tawharanui Peninsula. A great base to explore this incredible area and then relax after a busy day of hiking, beaching & enjoying the local hospitality.

At night the sky is full of stars. We have carefully crafted the cabins to provide a quirky off grid life and a tranquil experience where you can recharge in nature, read or play boardgames. The beach, along with shops and cafes are a 7 minute drive away and bush walks are just up the road.
