Christy's Cottage, Waterfront w/slide & Ice Shanty

In the tranquility of our lake house, you will enjoy our fully stocked house with a private dock. Bring your boat or rent our Pontoon boat! All reservations placed on or after May 18th, 2026, now include Kayaks, Paddle Boards, Pedal Boat, and Canoe! Waiver of liability must be signed to have them unlocked for your stay. This promotion does not apply to last-minute reservations (reservations placed 30 days or less before the check-in date. The normal rental price applies for these reservations.

This is a totally renovated barn done to luxury standards and is located on our farm down a private road, situated at the northern end of Flathead Lake. The views are spectacular as you can enjoy 360 degree views of the valley, Flathead Lake, Glacier Park, The Swan Mountains, Blacktail Mountain and the big skies and stars of Montana. The only land in between our farm and the lake is a waterfowl preserve. Plenty of wildlife on the property and it is a wonderful spot to enjoy Flathead Valley.

Welcome to Stoney Lonesome Retreat. Why Stoney Lonesome? Not entirely sure, you can blame it on my great grandfather, old Fredrick Richard August Christian Uhde. He named the property back in 1972 and the name has stuck!!! My parents Elward and Susan purchased our property in the summer of 1969 for $500 and we have been here ever since. My brother and I were raised here and now my wife Gretchen and I are so proud to be raising our son Simon here. The third generation on this land.

It has one bedroom and one bathroom, with an open living-room, dining-room, and kitchen area. Sleeps two adults and has a fold out couch bed that makes into a full bed. It’s near hiking trails. It’s an hour from Glacier National Park, and a half hour drive to Kalispell for shopping and dining.
