With no WI-FI this retreat offers a genuine chance to slow down, switch off, and reconnect with nature. The retreat is located 50 minutes from Perth Airport. We live in the adjoining house on the property, so help is nearby if needed, while your accommodation remains private and self-contained. There is still 5G reception available at the suite.

Your baseline booking provides for 3 bedrooms, sleeping up to 6. The 4th King Bedroom is available UPON REQUEST, for an additional booking fee, providing for up to 8 guests. Our studio is a cozy and inviting space designed with your comfort in mind. As you step inside, you'll immediately notice the abundance of natural light and beautiful calming plants. The studio is located about 400m from the beach. Please note we do not offer cooking amenities.

Honeymoon Hideaway -Adults Only Retreat

Beautifully hidden away cabin situated approximately 5 kms north of Harvey. Relax and hide away in our self-contained cabin in front of the log fire or sit on the decked balcony with a refreshing drink in hand and watch the variety of wild birds and sheep that roam the 90 tranquil acres. The cabin is out of sight so nothing can disturb you except for the sound of the nature. Please note -there is no oven, no wifi. 4WD is preferable for the steep driveway. Adults only and no pets.

Umatah Retreat Chalet

Umatah means "you matter". Umatah to us, Umatah to yourself, Umatah to those around you and Umatah to the environment. Umatah is part of the original State Brick Works that was closed down in the 1940’s after their excavations hit an underground spring. The property runs on organic principles and has a mango orchard, apiary, vegetable wicking beds plus various other fruit and nut trees. There is a large waterhole, landscaped gardens and endless native bushland.

We’ve done a Reno on the gazebo on the lake so you’ll be able sit down and enjoy a wine overlooking the water. You can take a dip in the lake , paddle the kayak or try your luck to catch a red fin. Take an morning /evening stroll around the orchard and vegie patch and visit the ponies and horses.

A luxury adult accomodation to enjoy as a base to explore the southwest region or just to take time off from a busy life and just chill in a comfortable and relaxing space. Enjoy drinks on the deck to take in the rural views and evening sunsets. At night, light up the fire pit and take in the night sky with a glass of wine in hand.
