Nana's Cabin

Nana's Cabin is located on a private pond 4 miles from downtown. This charming log home was built by local builders for their mother. Guests can drive right to the front door. There is a full well equipped kitchen. Bathroom has tub w/shower, washer & dryer. One queen bed downstairs & a queen, a twin and 2 pull out beds upstairs. Note: The Denali National Park entrance is a 3 hour drive from Talkeetna! There is a 1/2 mile walking trail on the property and access to local bike and ski trails.

The Johnson House Cottage

The cottage is a secluded guesthouse in a friendly neighborhood with spectacular views of the Knik Glacier and river. This retreat has room for up to four guests. It is an open floor plan with a double bed on the ground floor and twin beds in an upstairs loft. The kitchen has an induction cooktop, refrigerator, coffee pot, microwave. Propane BBQ on the deck and bathroom with a shower. Our cottage is not visible from the parking area so self check-in is not an option.

This newly constructed 3 bed 2 bath open concept home is tucked away on an acre of wooded trees. Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located abode. Just over a mile from downtown and within walking distance to the X-Y lakes trial system. We just completed construction the end of May 2025. As of December 2025 we have a whole home generator. Never be without power!!!

The TKA Chalet is about a mile from the train station, so please plan accordingly

Happy to lend out all the toys we have -Skis,Snowshoes, Canoe,Kayak, Paddle boards and bikes. If interested in extended (2 weeks + ) winter stays please ask. Great X-country skiing
