You may want to stay and enjoy the peace & quiet, but we are ideally placed for trips west to the Lake District, east to the magnificent cathedral city of Durham, and north to Hadrian's Wall. It's unusual in that you have to walk the last 240 metres to the house, though we will bring up your luggage in our 4WD. But don't let this put you off; please just read our reviews!

Hot tub is £80 payable on arrival. Our luxury glamping pods are home from home with all cooking facilities, Fully fitted en suite, Double bed and sofa bed. We supply shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and soap. We supply a continental breakfast. A full English breakfast could be supplied in you require. Free pick up after 5pm from Steel Rigg and free drop off before 9am. Dog friendly too. Small airfryer, small freezer and fridge.

High Crook Cottage

A unique rural cottage in the heart of Northumbria, High Crook Cottage is an idyllic property on its own but close to Hadrians Wall and Allen Banks. Perfect for walking or cycling holidays or just for people who want to relax in and explore the beautiful Northumbrian countryside and its rich heritage. Recently converted it is modern, comfortable and accessible whilst still retaining its original charm of a cowshed!

Relax and unwind at this unique and tranquil getaway. Believed to have been constructed in the latter half of the 16th Century, during the reign of Queen Elizabeth 1 and the time of the Spanish Armada, Bastle House is a Grade II Listed Building. Built as a stonghouse to protect against raids by Border Reivers, the property has been lovingly renovated into a unique and cosy one-bedroom bolthole.

This detached one bedroom Grade II listed stone built coach house is set in a private location adjacent to the owners' residence, with independent access and your own private off road parking. To the side is a private lawned area with seating. Pets welcome. The Coach House is set in a courtyard opposite Old Brewery cottage and next to my house.
