CasparCottage. is a charming quiet nicely appointed cottage that we built on our 5 private acres 3 miles from the ocean and 10 minutes from Mendocino or Fort Bragg. Walk to the WATERFALL in the Russian Gulch State Park from the cottage. We are at the eastern edge of the park. We've been sharing our cottage with guests for many years and have many guests that return year after year. It's a perfect place for a honeymoon, anniversary, special occasion or quiet retreat. The cottage is heated by propane and also has a wood burning stove. We offer the option of wine, flowers, rose petals on bed and balloons for wedding proposals, anniversaries, birthdays etc - ask for our price list. We are pet friendly and charge an additional $25 a day per pet up to 3 pets. There is a home 100 ft away that shares the 6 acres. No TV.

I allow dogs in this space, their own bedding required. Trails to creek, stars in a dark sky.

The property location is situated close to the town of Mendocino, approximately 4 miles directly east of town. It is a separate guesthouse from the main farmhouse. There are numerous trees surrounding the cottage, providing privacy. The views are of open meadow, forest and apple orchard. Lots of outdoor space; fire pit, redwood fairy ring with hammock, secret tree forts, lawn games, outdoor kitchen with sink, counter and BBQ.

Take a break from the rush of things and unwind at this tranquil retreat. Secluded luxurious accommodations only a few minutes walk to the beach, a legendary restaurant and bar and multiple gorgeous trails, this is the best of what Mendocino has to offer. Ours is a grand country home on a couple acres; a place to spread out.

Simple cabin deep in redwood forest, with fast wi-fi. Clean with rudimentary facilities –original outhouse currently serving as sole toilet, adjacent in the woods. There is a hot outdoor shower and a bathroom sink indoors with hot water at sink. New pricing includes mandatory 11% in local hotel taxes.
