Lovely, original home with fenced garden in the centre of Merksplas.

This special house is located in the centre of the village within walking distance of the shops and restaurants of the Merksplas municipality. The municipality is renowned for its 600-hectare historic cultural landscape, part of a unique ensemble of social colonies including Wortel (Hoogstraten), recognised by UNESCO, on the Dutch border. As of 1 April 2026, a tourist tax is mandatory. The tax amounts to €2 per adult (18+) per night, is not included in the price, and is payable on site.

Gelegen tussen Turnhout en Antwerpen biedt deze woning een perfecte uitvalhoek om diverse activiteiten te doen. Fiets en wandelroutes. Er zijn gezelschapsspelen aanwezig (Rummicub, Monopoly Antwerpen, Trivial Pursuit kids, Scrabble, 4 op 1 rij, Uno, Yahtzee, kaarten, story cubes Max, ganzenbord, Kubb, Badmintonset, Petanqueballen). Tijdens je verblijf in deze ruime, rustgevende accommodatie vergeet je al je zorgen. Je logeert op 1,5 km van Wortel-kolonie, een waar wandelparadijs , dit natuurgebied is het eerste cultuurlandschap op de lijst van Unesco werelderfgoed. Hier kan je heerlijk wandelen en fietsen. Vele routes doorkruisen dit prachtige gebied. Het verblijf ligt op 5,5 km afstand van de stad Hoogstraten, zeer bekend voor zijn aardbeien. Maar ook talrijke bezienswaardigheden en heerlijke restaurantjes .

Villa Forestier, a beautiful villa situated in one of the oldest forests of the Netherlands. This atmospheric house is ideal for guests who are looking for a peaceful stay. Close to the charming center of Breda, Etten-Leur or Prinsenbeek. The forest, named Liesbos, has been owned by the royal family. They also used this place for the hunt. The cozy villa is equipped with a great garden surrounded by century-old oak trees. The villa is warmly decorated with a classic and modern style.

Nieuw, gezellig huisje in het midden van de prachtige visbeekvallei. Kom helemaal tot rust te midden van de natuur. Vlakbij vindt u talrijke wandel-, fiets- en mountainbikeroutes. De Lilse Bergen (recreatiedomein met zwemvijver en grote speeltuin) is slechts een boogscheut ver. Het huisje is nieuw van 2022 en heeft 2 slaapkamers, een badkamer met douche en toilet; en een ruime woonkamer met keuken inclusief oven en vaatwasser. In de tuin kan u in alle rust genieten van de hottub.

A chalet in the middle of the woods

Between the woods and heath, you can sleep in this restored Gipsy cart. If you like comfort, nature and privacy, you're here at the right place. The pearl of this region is still the viper, one of the rarest reptiles in Flanders. Besides hiking and biking, the area is also suitable for day trips like visiting the 'Lilse Bergen' in summer (4.1km), the abbey of Westmalle (13km), Lilse Golf & Country (2.2km). Antwerp is also with 40km not very far.

This cottage is surrounded by woods. It's the ideal place to unwind and enjoy nature. It's fully equipped with every luxury, and you can enjoy a cup of coffee or tea outside on the beautiful terrace with a hot tub. In the bathroom, you'll find a wonderful bath to unwind. The cottage is nestled in a wooded area, and we have similar properties adjacent to it, but each has its own private woodland. The minimum age for our guests is 25.
