Multiple access points to the Grand Mesa, the ultimate outdoor playground for snowmobiling, hiking, motorcycling, ATVs, UTVs, fishing & hunting! Extra parking for motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, or snowmobiles! YMR permits guests to bring one furbaby without pre-approval ($100 pet fee still applies). It is a great launching point for day trips to Moab and the Grand Mesa as well! It was built to maximize the southern exposure and views of the Colorado National Monument.

Our petting zoo has 6 of the sweetest Nigerian Dwarf Goats, chickens, and the star of the show, BoMama our miniature donkey. Make a bonfire or visit a number of wineries, fishing holes, mountain hikes, snowboarding and skiing, boating, 4x4 trails, skydiving, scenic mountain towns, historical museums, national parks and more.

From skiing, to mountain biking, to rafting, to hiking, and road biking there are outdoor activities nearby for all levels.

Come experience a cozy, modernized historic home located in the growing and gritty mixed industrial/commercial/residential community near downtown Grand Junction, just blocks away from the Riverfront and Las Colonias Park. This convenient location does mean you will hear the TRAIN. However, 99+% of our guests don't even mention it (see our reviews)! No pets allowed. The house sits on the same property as our strength and conditioning gym.

The Solargon

The Solargon is inspired by elements of Asian yurts, Navajo hogons and Native American hidatsa lodges. Combined with passive solar design principles, the solargon is an octagonal structure designed to take full advantage of the sun. The vaulted ceilings and plentiful windows make the solargon bright and inviting. This is a perfect spot for solo travelers or couples looking for a quiet, off the beaten path place to get away from it all.
