This spacious studio space expanded over the bottom floor of the house, offers a queen size double bed, ensuite, full kitchen, dining table and living area. National Park is located in the upper Derwent Valley. The accomodation is 5min drive to Mt Field National Park. Maydena bike park just a 15min drive up the road. There is an abundance of beautiful walks with a selection of river valleys, waterfalls and giant trees.

You'll have my self-contained house in Fitzgerald to yourselves. It is modern and family-friendly. It's 5 minutes from the Tyenna river and a magic spot for fishing and watching Platypus. Less than 5 minutes from the Maydena Mountain Bike Park. Also MT Field and National Park are a 10 minute drive. Stay in and prepare meals or have dinner at the Mountain Bike Park (check their socials for opening times). As well, the visitors center at MT Field has a stylish and comprehensive cafe.

Bush surrounds, stunning views of the Huon River & Hartz mountains. Beaches, bushwalking, markets, relax by the fire or on the deck & admire the view. Markets every week in the valley, including the Cygnet market 1st & 3rd Sunday of the mth, Willie Smith's Artisan & Farmers Market every Saturday, 10-1.

Rosendale Stables

Reconstructed sandstone barn set on working asparagus farm offers comfort and seclusion. Features expansive glass areas and generous verandah/pergola. The garden features English trees planted in colonial settlement days circa 1807 to 1850. Excellent shopping opportunities within 5 kilometres; 45 minutes to Hobart: 1hour to airport; 20 minutes to Mount Field National Park. On farm produce available in season in an area of growing culinary endeavour.

Post House Cottage - 10 Minutes to Mount Field

Accommodation located within 10 minutes drive to the spectacular MOUNT FIELD NATIONAL PARK. Cottage was built in the early 1900's in the picturesque Derwent Valley. The cottage is set on 13 acres and is private with your own fully fenced yard. We give you your privacy but if you need us, we are close by to assist. The cottage makes a welcoming break between Hobart and Strahan. Cottage caters to children over 12 years of age only.

The cottage is located less than 200m from the Maydena Bike Park base and 15min from Mount Field National Park. The cottage is cosy & comfortable fitted out with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Maydena Mountain Escape

Escape the busy city and unwind in the tiny town of Maydena where you awake to misty mountains and wild rivers on your doorstep! This original home is quirky but delightfully comfortable and warm. It has mountain views from every window framed with man ferns and rhododendrons. Maydena bike park is literally over the back fence!

The Old Farmhouse is a renovated, 3 bedroom self contained cottage at the Sassafras Springs Estate in Ellendale with an organic vegetable garden and orchard (for guests' use) and a beautiful rainforest walk along a bubbling creek. Furnishings and finishes are as organic and non-toxic as we can make them.
