Tucked away on the corner of Duck Street in the centre of the village, the cottage has off-street private parking for one car & space for an outdoor bistro table & chairs. Old Standard Cottage is at the heart of the former fishing village three miles west of Penzance. Today this quiet ancient harbour shelters two sandy beaches perfect for families. The solid granite cottage is believed to have been part of the only property to survive the Spanish raid on Mousehole in 1595. It is now a well equipped and comfortable holiday home with modern amenities. Mousehole has excellent visitor facilities, including a deli shop, two good restaurants and The Ship Inn.
