Spectacular sea views in quaint Kalk Bay

The sea views from our airbnb suite (2 bedrooms and a lounge) are fabulous. Behind us is the mountain reserve and in front lies the wide expanse of False Bay. Down below on the rocks is a natural tidal pool, safe for swimming. We are close to Kalk Bay fishing harbour, the quaint Kalk Bay village, several other tidal pools (perfect for cold swimmers!) and Fishhoek & Muizenberg beaches. We have newly renovated and enlarged our Airbnb space which is now separate from our living space and private.

This three bedroom bungalow is a hidden gem behind a fountain with a 180 degree sea view that has been refurbished completely and designed tastefully. Listen to the waves breaking on the rocks while soaking in the hot tub. The open plan living area flows effortlessly towards a covered deck area with spectacular views. Situated a short walk from the famous St James tidal pool with its brightly colored dressing cabins, and minutes from Muizenberg surfing beach. Barefoot luxury never got better!

The Amberley Annex is a perfect retreat tucked away at the foot of the mountain. It is walking distance from the hustle and bustle of Surfers Corner, shops , restaurants and Muizenberg Station, yet peaceful and private.This sunny, self-contained studio is entirely separate from the main house, with a kitchenette, work area & free uncapped Fibre (35 up/25 down) making it perfect for digital nomads . Wooden sliding doors open onto a small deck, surrounded by a wonderful, aromatic garden.

The Lookout

Although there is no direct road access, the views from the house are exceptional. Parking on Boyes Dr or Capri Rd. A modern, casual two-storey house in St James with panoramic views of False Bay. Enjoy close proximity to Danger Beach, surf spots and the St James & Dalebrook tidal pools. Walk from the house up the mountain or to Kalk Bay harbour, shops & restaurants - or stay at home and enjoy the pool, hot tub & fireplaces. It is private and secluded, ideal for those seeking a getaway.

Beachball B&B

Beachball B&B is located in the heart of the old village of Kalkbay. Set on a cobbled road that ends in a short flight of stairs it is not a thoroughfare. It is within easy walking distance of the tidal pool, the park, numerous restaurants and coffee shops, and the mountain behind with walking trails. The house dates back to 1875 and the unit is an independent wing with its own street access. The station is also close at hand, and there are wonderful shops to explore along the main road.

The downstairs double bedrooms share a bathroom and the front bedroom has beautiful sea views. While the downstairs deck is great for sundowners. Situated 45 minutes from Cape Town’s city centre.

Sleeping arrangements are super spacious so you can stretch out and relax. There is an off street secure parking bay.

My comfortable, tastefully-decorated & well-equipped apartment is located in a beach-front building at Muizenberg's famous Surfer's Corner. (Please note: the apartment does not have a sea view). The building has excellent security; including finger-print access control and 24-hour concierges at the front entrance. There is a free private parking bay in the basement. The WiFi router has a dedicated UPS - so the WiFi works even when the electricity is off.

The Studio at the Stone House is a self-catering cottage, just 200m from the beach. It's tucked away behind one of Muizenberg's oldest houses (dating 1901) on a quiet road in the village. The studio is light and modern, especially equipped for your comfort and convenience. It's best feature is probably the large wind-free private patio for outdoor lounging and alfresco dining. AND we're solar-powered, so you have uninterrupted access to wifi!

Sleep in the trees in a unique retreat overlooking False Bay. Perched on the Muizenberg Mountain-side, the Owl House offers guests a unique garden stay with a distinct tree-house feel and is a short walk away from the buzz of Muizenberg village and its famous beachfront. The self-contained 30m2, solar-powered bungalow is separate from the main house, with a kitchenette, work and dining space, & uncapped fibre, making it perfect for WFH.

The Lily @ St James - amazing view from your bed

This spacious, quirky apartment with an amazing view is on the top floor of a gracious mansion overlooking St James tidal pool. There are LOTS of steps so not suitable if you are unfit, elderly or overweight. Your own private entrance leads you into a perfectly equipped apartment. Lie in the comfortable king size bed in total privacy and spot the whales in False Bay. It is an easy walk to Muizenberg and Kalk Bay.
