The old Fisherman’s cottage has sympathetically restyled from top to bottom into a cosy retreat for you to kick back relax and enjoy some peace and quiet. The large private garden has a decking area and summer house for you to enjoy.

Swinburne Castle

Swinburne Castle is perfectly situated within its own beautiful parkland and gardens. Traditionally decorated, parts of the house have tremendous history dating back to the 12th century. The east wing is extremely comfortable and private, and don't be perturbed by the stone steps leading down to the vaulted cellar. A delicious continental breakfast will be provided in your rooms. There is ample parking and a tennis court you are welcome to use. lovely footpaths from the house for keen walkers.

The Blacksmith’s Shop

Newly converted detached cottage (which was historically the Blacksmith’s shop) situated on our working farm. Adults only, one king sized bedroom with bath, shower room and open plan kitchen, dining and living area. The perfect place to explore the hills, castles and beaches of north Northumberland. The house is a perfectly placed to explore the Northumberland National Dark Sky Park and Kielder Water, just 20 minutes away. The Boe Rigg restaurant and bar is a 10-minute stroll away and a variety of shops, cafes and restaurants can be found in the traditional market town of Bellingham just two miles away.

Off street parking, guest patio and garden. Two small dogs or one medium dog (labrador size) welcome. We are surrounded by beautiful walks including the river Coquet and the breathtaking beaches. A stones throw away from Warkworth castle where you will stumble among the local pubs, cafes and restaurants.

Charm can be found in the original stone walls, oak beams, woodburning stove, cosy furniture, and a king-size bed. An excellent touring base, located near Hadrian’s Wall, Roman forts, Hexham Abbey, and Kielder Water and Forest Park.

Welcome to SHEP – your cosy shepherd’s hut on a vintage military lorry, nestled along an old railway line on our family farm in the Scottish Borders. Snuggle up by the wood-burning stove in winter or throw open the French doors for a summer BBQ. Ideal for couples, families or solo stays. Optional wood-fired hot tub – £70 per stay (please book in advance). Pre-light service can be requested but is not always available. Extra logs can be purchased for £15 per bag.
